If you are using windows but want to get in on the github action, you’ll notice on github.umn.edu there is a button to “clone to desktop” which will prompt you to download the official github client for windows.rnrnAfter doing so, you can hook up the sotware to the regular github, but the trick to getting it working with our github.umn.edu is to set up an enterprise login.rnrnYou will put in your credentials, but when it asks for a host/URL/etc., put in “https://github.umn.edu” with the s in https being VERY important. Then it should be smooth sailing between bit and windows!
Tested in Windows 7. It works. When signing in, you have to select Github Enterprise instead of Github in order to input the UMN GitHub URL.n[ edited [time=short]1380420003[/time] ]

Even better, you don't have to disable SSL certifications like you had to with GitBash or TortoiseGit.n[ edited [time=short]1380420480[/time] ]
